Stories Steeped in Mythology
1. The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec Angrboda is a witch in hiding. She survived being burned not once, not twice, but three times. Now she spends her time living in a cave at the edge of Jotunheim. Loki, the most mischievous god of them all, visits Angrboda now and again. Maybe, something happened for both of them the day he brought her back her heart. Mythology Type: Norse This book is great for anyone who is less familiar with…

Best Fantasy Books Released in 2021
1. The Forever Sea By Joshua Phillip Johnson This book was my favorite of the year. It is filled with adventure, magic, and pirates. It was written by a new author with this being his first book. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves high fantasy and is looking for an exciting adventure that takes place on a sea of prairie grass. I am anxiously waiting for the next book of this series to be released. If you have read this book, I’d love to hear your thoughts on it as well. If you haven’t, you are welcome to read my review of it for more of my thoughts.…

Just make sure you’re not too near him when he does. This story is very close to a specific werewolf pack. Adam Hampton is the alpha of the pack that is located in Mercy’s, the main character’s, area. I find the…

Great Adventures in Short Packages
Note: I classify a short series as six books or less. #1. The Furies of Calderon by Jim Butcher Tavi has always felt different. He lives in a world where everyone has a fury, the ability to manipulate some kind of element. He has been born with no furies. He lives an ordinary life, or at least, he did. He manages to get himself sucked into an adventure that will change his life and those of the people around him. Time Commitment: 100% worth it! Though this series is at six books, it is the perfect length for the story and doesn’t feel like a long-time commitment.  This series is…
